Answers before you have to ask.
The questions a head of school asks in the meeting, and the ones a parent asks at the kitchen table — answered plainly, on the page.
For schools
The questions a head of school actually presses on.
Our students already connect their own accounts. Why would the school pay?
Because the school outcome is different from the student one. Student by student, you get scattered wiring and no visibility. With the school in, approval sits with your staff, the office stops answering the same question repeatedly, and a leader gets one view of the week ahead. You are buying coordination, not more accounts.
What happens to our data, and who can see a child's information?
Visibility is shaped by role. A student chooses what they share. Families see category-level summaries, never the underlying content. Staff see what your settings allow and nothing else. Data stays in the EU. The full technical and policy detail goes to your data protection officer as a written packet, before you decide.
You say it flags problems. Does it act on our behalf?
No. Anything that leaves the school, including contacting families, waits for a person at your school to approve it. It finds, explains and flags. It does not act. That guardrail is deliberate, and there is no setting that removes it.
What if the way we run things changes: our timetable, a platform, our reporting?
The parts that differ between schools are already settings rather than code: year groups, your own pages, calendar priority, which sources are read, who gets which report. And when a new integration is built because one school asked, every school gets it. Change is the normal case here, not an exception.
Who is behind StudyBot, and what happens if you stop?
StudyBot is a small, funded product team in Barcelona, working with schools directly. Your school's data is exportable at any time, coverage can start with one year group and grow, and continuity is something we put in writing before you buy. You are working with a company, not a favour.

What a student and a parent want to know before signing up.
Do I have to install an app?
No. StudyBot works on the web and nudges you on WhatsApp, right where you already text. There is nothing to download and no password to invent — you connect your school accounts in a couple of taps.
What does it cost, and does it auto-renew?
The dashboard, the class calendar and the weekly summary are free. Pro adds the daily WhatsApp digest and the portal connectors, from €5 a month or €39 for the whole school year. The year pass simply expires in June. Nothing auto-renews and you can cancel in two taps.
What can my parents actually see?
A weekly summary in plain categories that you choose, like "on top of it" or "heavy week". They see the shape of your week. They do not see your messages and they do not see your schoolwork. You control what is shared, which is the whole reason it works.
Is my data private?
Yes. StudyBot reads your school accounts to help you and for nothing else. It is never sold and never shared, and your data stays in the EU. It is yours alone.
My school already uses StudyBot. Do I still pay?
No. If your school runs StudyBot, Pro is already covered for you. Sign up with your school's code and everything unlocks, free.
